Emirates aces the skies with a Grand Slam livery

Emirates 3 mins read

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, 14 January 2026: Emirates, the world’s largest international airline and one of the biggest supporters of tennis, has unveiled a stunning new Airbus A380 livery celebrating its enduring commitment to tennis through its sponsorship of all four Grand Slam tournaments.

Emirates proudly sponsors the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, The Championships, Wimbledon and US Open.

The livery showcases a melange of tennis-inspired elements, with each Grand Slam logo framed within a tennis ball emblem and rendered in the tournament's signature colours. The Australian Open's summer blue, Roland-Garros' bold red-clay, Wimbledon’s signature green and purple, and the US Open’s striking yellow and blue combination are all creatively represented in the design.

Aviation enthusiasts and tennis fans can look forward to catching a glimpse of the airline’s latest special Grand Slam livery as it graces the skies to cities like Houston and Sao Paulo, carrying the sport’s core values of sportsmanship, discipline and resilience all over the world.

The livery will remain in Emirates’ fleet for the coming years, with the first flight sporting this unique design having landed in Melbourne, Australia to mark the start of this year’s first Grand Slam tournament.

Decade-long Partnership with The Australian Open

Emirates’ partnership with the Australian Open began in 2014, reflecting the airline’s ongoing commitment to tennis and ambition to promote Australia as a travel destination. The airline also hosts guests across the two-week tournament in its exclusive hospitality marquee, where they can enjoy a taste of the fine dining experience offered on board and across airport lounges.

Emirates also sponsor the AO Ballpark and Kids Tennis Day presented by Emirates, bringing lots of fun activities to keep families entertained.

This year, the airline will transform its exclusive Emirates Marquee into a "Desert Dreamscape" inspired by Dubai. The Marquee will offer luxurious experiences, including a Dubai-inspired brunch and an à la carte menu blending various global culinary influences, alongside the debut of unlimited First-Class caviar service. The airline will engage fans through family-friendly activities at the AO Ballpark and Kids Tennis Day, as well as live match coverage on its inflight entertainment system, ice. Emirates will also showcase its brand through digital experiences like the AO Adventure on Roblox, enhancing both the on-ground and in-flight fan experience at the tournament.

From 18 January to 1 February, customers travelling to and from Australia will enjoy a special Australian Open–themed on-board experience. Highlights include a tropical non-alcoholic welcome drink in first and business class, seafood appetisers across all cabins, seasonal lamb in first and business class, chicken parmigiana in premium economy and economy, and classic Australian desserts such as pavlova and lamingtons.

Customers can also enjoy the tournament’s official Grey Goose® Lemon Ace cocktail, Australian Open–branded menu inserts and cabin touchpoints, and themed treats in the A380 onboard lounge.

Live matches will be available on sport 24 and sport 24 extra via ice inflight entertainment, with A380 customers also able to watch the action together in the A380 onboard lounge.
