PRIME MINISTER MUST REVISIT TOBACCO EXCISE AS NEW REPORT SHOWS LEGAL MARKET COULD COLLAPSE BY 2029
The Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) has called on the Prime Minister to urgently review tobacco excise settings following reporting in The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald on the Oxford Economics report – Addressing Australia’s Illicit Tobacco market. Innovative diabetes research grants will prioritise lived experiences and improve lives
Innovative research projects that leverage AI technology, reduce diabetes complications, and seek to preserve and restore beta cell function are set for a $2 million investment in 2026 through the Diabetes Australia Research Trust.
